ill has a domino effect on the remaining workers, as they experience increased stress levels covering for their absent colleagues.

not result in illness, it can still reduce staff morale and performance.Stress is
a major factor for any employer or employee to consider in today's working environment.
The Physical Effects of Stress
Cortisol and other stress hormones are released into our bodies
when we sense an emergency to provide more energy and sharpen the attention ("fight or flight response").
However, this also suppresses the immune system
making the sufferer more prone to illness and infections. Over a prolonged period it can also effect ability to concentrate
and memory.
